David Nace, MD, MPH

David A. Nace, MD, MPH, CMD is a Professor and Chief, Division of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He also serves as the Chief of Medical Affairs for UPMC Senior Communities. Dr. Nace’s research focuses on outbreaks and infections in older adults including COVID-19 and antimicrobial stewardship in the long-term care setting. 

Dr. Nace is a past-president of AMDA - The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. He served as a member of the White House Coronavirus Commission on Safety and Quality in Nursing Homes and on numerous state and national scientific and expert panels.
